G'day and welcome to Wild Dog Honey. We are a father-son team that have been beekeeping since 2012.
We're based in the leafy outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne and our bees enjoy a native garden to forage in as well as a nice mix of flowers from our neighbours and nearby parks and reserves.
We got our first swarm through the Doncaster Beekeeping Club. We started with one Langstroth eight-frame full-depth hive and now we're up to five.
We have a sustainable mindset, we do not use pesticides on our garden, leave plenty of honey for our bees over winter and inspect the hives regularly for disease and pests.
